Please direct requests for letters of recommendation to the administration office. We distinguish between two types of letters:
Simple letter of recommendation
This letter simply states how your exam grade relates to the overall distribution. Prerequisite: you have taken the lectures "Statistics I" and/or "Statistics II" with Prof. Krüger. Processing time: 1-2 weeks.
Personalized letter of recommendation
This letter applies with regard to stays abroad or scholarships. Prerequisite: At least one of the following criteria is met:
- You have passed one of our exams, "VWL III", "Microeconometrics", "Applied Econometrics", "Predictive Modeling" or "Probabilistic Time Series Forecasting Challenge" with at least 1.7
- You are (or were) a student research assistant or tutor in our working group
- You have passed one of our seminars with at least 1.7
Required documents: current transcript of records, CV and a brief description of the project. Processing time: approx. 3 weeks.
